The Feather Flex is Antonio Pacelli's latest jig shoe. It has been designed for Open and Championship dancers who are looking for that extra edge to keep them on the podium at the majors or to push them further up the results table.

The Feather Flex has been designed so you can perform more complex routines while protecting your feet and bones from the demands of competing in today's competitive Irish dancing.

  • Liberty Tips
    The Feather Flexi is fitted with the Liberty tip, the loudest tip in Irish dancing.

  • Faster And Louder Trebles
    The Feather Flex has a rubber shock absorber under the tip to reduce vibrations generated by fast trebling. If your legs get tired quickly, this will help you treble for longer. The shock absorber also helps project the sound of the tips outwards across the stage.

  • Easier Toe Walks
    The Feather Flex has a flexible black suede sole with an integrated Flex Board. This board allows you to toe walk for longer by taking some of the pressure off your feet's arches. The tip block has also been shaped to make toe walking easier and less demanding. If toe walking is an important part of your routine, you will find longer toe walks easier and less tiring with the Feather Flex!

    Our Concorde heels are super loud and are curved to give you a large strike surface for your heel clicks.

Size Guide

Please note the sizing is in UK sizing and that adult sizes 8.5 and above are only available in a wide fitting. Orders for standard width in this size range will be despatched as wide fitting.

The Antonio Pacelli Ultraflexi jig shoe has a flexible black suede sole and high quality leather uppers.

The Ultraflexi is the perfect jig shoe for dancers who do a lot of toe stands and toe walking as the Ultraflexi is flexible straight out of the box.

The sole of the Ultraflexi does not offer as much as support as our Superflexi model so we do not recommend them for beginners, very young dancers or dancers' with foot problems.

The Ultraflexi comes with a U-shaped heel stiffener so the top edge of the back of the shoe, the part of the shoe which meets your achilles tendon, is softer and reduces the possibility of blisters and irritation when new.

All Ultraflexi jig shoes have a poron insole which is a medical grade material with excellent shock absorbing properties which reduces the impact on the joints of the foot and lower body when dancing.

Other features of the Ultraflexi include a high grade strap and easy open/close buckles - important when you need to quickly change from soft to hard shoes during competitions!

Tips and Heels

These Ultraflexi hard shoes come fitted with Concorde Tips and Concorde Lite Heels.

Tips

These are Open/Championship level tips and are worn by many of the world's top dancers.

They are made from a composite material which is a mix of several ingredients, all tightly compressed together to create a very high density material. Not only are they very loud, they also produce an excellent tone and depth of sound. If you prefer a brighter, crisper sound then we would recommend the liberty tip.

They are so tough, it is very unlikely you will need to replace them over the life of the shoe!

All of our tips have a large 'Toe Stand' square at the front to make toe walking and getting on your toes easier.

Heels

The Concorde Lite heel is an Open/Championship level heel made from the same composite materials as our Concorde Tips.

They are a solid heel with a white nylon top piece which enhances the overall sound quality.

They also have a curve on the inside of the heel to improve the accuracy of heel clicks and ensure a nice 'shot gun' sound when clicked.
